Physician executive · Operator · PC owner

The first hour decides the outcome.

I serve as PC owner, medical director and clinical advisor to digital health startups and established care platforms, so they can build compliant, scalable clinical operations from day one.

Why Golden Hour

It is 2 a.m., and the next hour matters more than the next month.

Every physician who has worked a night in the ICU knows the moment. A patient starts to slip. The room gets quiet, and the team goes to work: recognize what is really happening, stabilize before chasing details, measure what matters, then commit to a plan. Nothing heroic. Just the right calls, made early, by people who have been there before.

I have spent my career in that hour, first at the bedside and then as an operator building the teams and systems around it.

Startups live their own version of it. The first PC structure, the first states you launch in, the first protocols your clinicians follow and the first compliance calls you make feel small when you make them. A year later, they decide whether you scale cleanly or spend months unwinding them. Most founders make those calls without anyone in the room who has made them before.

Golden Hour Advisory exists to be that person in the room.

Operator experience

The physician behind the practice

I am a physician executive and operating partner leading combined physician and APP teams across multiple sites and states. I serve as PC owner for a multibillion-dollar national physician enterprise, so I understand PC/MSO structure, governance and compliance from the owner's chair rather than from the outside.

I am also a builder. I design and develop my own software for clinical teams, including tools adopted across a large physician organization, and I serve as clinical advisor to a pre-commercial cardiac monitoring startup. Founders get an advisor who understands the product, the clinician who will use it and the operator who will buy it.

How I help

Four ways to work together

For care platforms and MSOs

PC ownership

Licensed physician ownership for friendly PC/MSO models, from a new entity to a transition from an existing owner. Many PC owners sign the documents and step back. I bring an operator's involvement: real clinical governance, clean separation between clinical and business decisions, and the stability investors and payers look for.

For growing clinical teams

Multi-state medical direction

Medical director across 45 licensed states, with APP supervision, collaborative practice agreements, clinical protocols, chart review and quality oversight that scale as you add states and clinicians.

For virtual care companies

Telehealth compliance

State-by-state rules for synchronous and asynchronous care, including how the patient relationship is established, prescribing, supervision requirements and corporate practice of medicine, so the model is compliant before it scales.

For founders

Clinical and product advisory

Clinical model design, workflow validation and credibility with physicians. I pressure-test AI, remote monitoring and virtual care products against how care is actually delivered. Advisory and board roles, including equity arrangements.

How an engagement runs

Your first 90 days

Days 0 to 14

Assess

Review your PC structure, licensure footprint, clinical protocols and compliance posture. You get a clear read on what is solid and what will break at scale.

Days 15 to 45

Stabilize

Stand up or transition the PC, put supervision and collaborative practice agreements in place, and close the highest-risk compliance gaps first.

Days 46 to 90

Scale

Build the state expansion plan, the quality metrics and the clinical governance rhythm that let you grow without rework.

Timelines flex with the engagement. Advisory roles start with the same assessment.

Common questions

What leaders ask first

How involved will you be day to day?

As involved as the model requires. At a minimum, that means regular governance meetings, approval of clinical policies and protocols, oversight of chart review and quality, and availability for clinical escalations.

Can you serve across multiple states?

Yes. I hold active licenses in 45 states and can serve as PC owner or medical director across them, subject to each state's ownership and supervision rules.

We already have a PC owner. Can you take over?

Yes. Owner transitions are common, and I plan them with your counsel so payer contracts, clinician agreements and patient care continue without interruption.

How are engagements compensated?

PC ownership and medical direction are compensated at fair market value under the services agreement. Advisory roles can combine equity and a retainer, depending on stage.

How quickly can we start?

Most engagements begin with the assessment phase in the first two weeks after signing.

Need a PC owner or physician advisor?

I take on a small number of engagements each year: long-term PC ownership and medical direction, advisory roles with equity or a retainer, and fixed-scope compliance reviews. Every engagement is structured to avoid conflicts with my existing clinical and enterprise roles. Full background and references are available on request, and the best first step is a short conversation.
